Maximum export capacity

Maximum export capacity is the connection-level export allowance that caps the rate of electricity a property, solar system, battery system or bidirectional EV arrangement may send to the distribution network. It is normally stated in kW, kVA or amps and appears in DNO connection paperwork, connection offers, connection agreements, G99 or G100 material and export-limitation settings. The figure is about the maximum permitted export rate at the connection point, not the system's total annual exported kWh, the inverter's product rating, the PV array size, SEG registration or a supplier export tariff.
