Monitoring portal data

Monitoring portal data is the readings, status records and event information shown in a solar, inverter or battery app or web portal.

Monitoring portal data is the set of readings, status records and event information that a solar inverter, battery system, energy monitor or linked app sends to a web portal or mobile app. It may show solar generation, household consumption, grid import/export, battery state of charge, charge or discharge power, alarms and connection status, depending on the hardware and sensors. It is useful for performance checks and troubleshooting, but it should be read with the product documents, meter or CT layout, time interval, data source and any billing or export-meter records, because a portal graph may reflect sensor placement, communication gaps, inverter limits or control settings rather than a single fault or verified settlement reading.
