Monitoring portal
A monitoring portal is the app, web dashboard or account interface used to view a home energy system's status, readings, alerts and, where the product allows, control settings.
A monitoring portal is a manufacturer, installer or open-source app or web dashboard that receives information from inverters, batteries, EV chargepoints, heat pumps, meters or gateways. It can show live and historic readings, device status, alerts, firmware notices and account-level settings, and some portals also allow controls such as battery modes, EV charging modes or remote configuration. The portal is a user interface, not the measured data itself.
