Monobloc
A monobloc heat pump is an air-to-water heat pump where the main heat pump equipment is packaged as one outdoor unit connected to the home's heating system by flow and return water pipework.
A monobloc heat pump is an air-to-water heat pump configuration in which the heat pump is packaged as a single self-contained outdoor unit. The dwelling-side connections normally use flow and return water pipework, electrical wiring and any indoor cylinder, buffer or control equipment used by that design, rather than installer-made refrigerant connections between indoor and outdoor units.
