MPPT voltage range

MPPT voltage range is the DC voltage window in which an inverter's MPPT is designed to operate.

MPPT voltage range is the DC voltage window in which an inverter's MPPT is designed to operate while it tracks a solar PV string's best available power point. It is usually shown in volts on a solar or hybrid inverter datasheet, often near start-up voltage, maximum PV voltage, maximum input current and the number of MPPT trackers or strings. The range helps explain whether a proposed PV string can sit within the tracker's operating window, but it is separate from the inverter's absolute DC voltage limit, start-up voltage, input current, export capacity, type-test status and DNO approval.
