Neighbour receptor
A neighbour receptor is the neighbouring property, habitable-room opening or outdoor amenity area that a planning, noise or siting assessment treats as the place that could receive an effect from proposed home energy equipment or works.
A neighbour receptor is the neighbouring property, habitable-room opening or outdoor amenity area that a planning, noise or siting assessment treats as the place that could receive an effect from proposed home energy equipment or works. In home energy documents, it most often appears around air source heat pump sound checks, PV roof or planning notes, battery or EV charger siting notes and cable-route plans. It is an impact-assessment reference point, not proof of planning permission, neighbour consent, Building Regulations compliance, roof structure suitability, DNO approval or MCS certification.
