NMC battery chemistry

NMC (lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide) battery chemistry is a lithium-ion cell chemistry that uses nickel, manganese and cobalt in the positive electrode. The label appears in battery datasheets, safety information, legacy product material and comparison tables when documents need to distinguish NMC cells from LFP or other lithium-ion chemistries.
