Parallel batteries

Parallel batteries are two or more compatible battery units, modules or towers connected or configured to work together on the same battery-system voltage, rather than in a series string that raises voltage. In battery-bank language, parallel connection increases capacity; in home battery products, the allowed combination, current limits, BMS communication and inverter compatibility are set by the manufacturer. It is not a DIY wiring instruction, proof that any battery can be mixed in later, a guarantee of backup power or evidence of DNO approval, MCS certification, SEG tariff acceptance, warranty cover or safe installation.
