Planning permission

Planning permission is the planning consent that allows development to be carried out. For home energy work, the key question is whether the proposal is already covered by permitted development rights or needs a decision from the local planning authority.

Planning permission is the planning consent that allows development to be carried out when the work meets the legal definition of development. In heat pump paperwork, the term usually appears when an air source heat pump is being checked against permitted development limits or when an application to the local planning authority may be needed.
