PV array
Also known as solar array
A PV array is the group of PV modules installed together as the generating part of a solar PV system.
A PV array is the group of PV modules, often called solar panels, installed together on a roof, frame or ground mounting to produce DC electricity for an inverter or other PV system equipment. A PV array is not the same as one module, one string, the inverter, the whole solar PV system, an annual generation estimate, export capacity, DNO acceptance or proof that a roof, fixing system or installation design is suitable.
