Radiator emitter upgrades

Radiator emitter upgrades are changes to radiators or other room heat emitters so a heating system can deliver the required room heat at the design flow temperature.

Radiator emitter upgrades are changes to the room-side heat emitters, such as replacing a radiator with a larger radiator, adding another radiator or using another emitter type, so each room can meet its calculated heat loss at the design flow temperature. The required changes come from room heat loss, design temperature, emitter output data and the wider hydraulic design.
