Radiator output

Radiator output is the rate at which a radiator is expected to release heat into a room, usually shown in watts under stated test or design conditions. In heat pump and heating documents it should be read with the flow temperature, return temperature, room temperature, radiator type, radiator size and water flow rate because changing those conditions changes the output. A catalogue figure, Delta T rating or radiator schedule entry is not proof by itself that a room's heat loss will be met, that a heat pump will run efficiently or that the installation is correctly designed.
