Reactive power control
Reactive power control is the inverter or controller function that changes reactive power or power-factor behaviour to meet a grid, voltage-control or connection setting.
Reactive power control is an inverter, battery-inverter or site-controller function that changes reactive power, usually shown as var (volt-amperes reactive), kVAr (kilovolt-amperes reactive) or a leading and lagging power-factor range. In a solar PV or battery system it may appear in manufacturer datasheets, G99 (Engineering Recommendation G99) evidence, ENA compliance records or grid-management service menus.
