Schematic

A schematic is a simplified technical drawing that shows the relationship between equipment, circuits, pipes or controls in a system. In home energy paperwork, it may appear as a system diagram, wiring diagram, piping diagram or layout drawing for solar PV, battery storage, EV charging or heat-pump equipment. It helps identify what connects to what, but it is not the same as a full installation design, single-line diagram, manufacturer manual, commissioning record, certificate, DNO approval or warranty promise.
