Seasonal heat pump maintenance

Also known as Heat pump seasonal maintenance

Seasonal heat pump maintenance is the recurring set of product-specific checks and servicing tasks carried out around a heat pump's heating season.

Seasonal heat pump maintenance means the recurring checks, cleaning and servicing that keep a heat pump ready for normal use before, during or after the main heating season. In a UK home energy context it may include the maintenance schedule, manufacturer instructions, outdoor unit airflow checks, filters or strainers, system pressure, antifreeze or inhibitor checks and any professional service required by the product or warranty. It is not a do-it-yourself service checklist, a service record, a warranty approval, an MCS certificate or proof that the heat pump is correctly designed.
