Solar PV uses PV modules or panels to convert sunlight into DC electricity as part of a wider solar PV system.
Solar PV uses PV modules or panels to convert sunlight into DC electricity, with inverter and connection equipment then making that electricity usable by the home, storage system or grid connection. It is broader than one panel or PV array, but it is not the same as solar thermal, an annual-generation estimate, export permission, DNO acceptance, planning permission, warranty entitlement, tariff eligibility, savings evidence or proof that the installation is suitable or complete.
