Solar yield
Solar yield is the amount of electricity a solar PV system produces over a period, usually recorded in kWh and sometimes compared as kWh per kWp.
Solar yield is the electrical energy generated by a solar PV system over a stated period. Yield depends on installed kWp, solar radiation, location, orientation, inclination, shading, temperature, system losses and equipment operation. It is not the same as kWp, irradiance, self-consumption, self-sufficiency, export, a savings forecast, DNO acceptance, SEG eligibility, a performance guarantee or proof of installation quality.
