String inverter

A string inverter is a solar PV inverter connected to one or more PV strings, with each string normally made from modules connected in series and feeding a shared inverter or MPPT input. It converts DC from the PV array into AC for the installation, while the useful design details sit in the inverter datasheet, string layout, MPPT inputs, input voltage and current limits, commissioning records and handover material.
