String voltage

String voltage is the DC voltage across a solar PV string, the series-connected group of modules feeding an inverter or MPPT input. It is usually the combined voltage of the modules in that string, so the value changes with whether the document is using open-circuit voltage, maximum power point voltage or a measured operating voltage.
