Underfloor heating is a heat-emitter arrangement that uses pipework loops or electric heating elements in the floor so the floor surface releases heat into the room.

Underfloor heating, often shortened to UFH, is a heat-emitter arrangement where pipework loops or electric heating elements warm the floor so the floor surface releases heat into the room. In heat pump and heating documents it may appear beside manifolds, zone controls, floor build-ups, heat loss calculations, flow temperatures, floor coverings and commissioning notes.
