Warranty document

A warranty document is the written warranty, guarantee or limited-warranty wording that explains what is covered, who provides the cover, how long it lasts, what conditions apply, what can invalidate it and how support or claims are handled. In home energy paperwork it may come from an installer, scheme-backed protection provider or manufacturer for equipment such as solar PV, battery storage, an EV chargepoint, a heat pump or associated controls. It defines the cover and conditions; installation, commissioning and connection records document different parts of the system.
