Baxi Assure HP50 is the residential specification-channel counterpart to the HP40, using R32 refrigerant across eight variants spanning single- and three-phase supplies.

Baxi Assure HP50 is an R32 air-to-water monobloc range for residential specification and social-housing projects. It is the Assure-channel counterpart to the Baxi HP40, with separate HP50 model numbers and product codes.
Model range and ratings
The family comprises 4, 5, 7, 8, 11 and 13 kW designations. Every output has a single-phase unit, while the 11 and 13 kW sizes also have three-phase versions. The HP50 and HP40 share seasonal performance, acoustic and casing figures.
Baxi’s January 2026 ASHP guide gives nominal capacities of 3.94, 4.28, 5.56, 6.49, 8.36, 9.98, 8.36 and 9.98 kW at -5°C outdoor air and 55°C water flow. The live HP50 page instead gives 4.41, 5.31, 6.45, 7.53, 10.6, 12.8, 10.6 and 12.8 kW in the same model order. It also uses 5°C, rather than the HP40 page’s 7°C, for its warmer-air output rows. Baxi does not reconcile these differences, so the source and test point need to accompany any quoted figure.
Documentation and controls
The difference between HP50 and HP40 matters because their product codes and MCS records are separate. HP50 product codes run from 7830577 to 7830584, while the live MCS records run from MCS HP0033/09 to HP0033/16. The full HP50 model designation, including phase, links the installed unit to the correct record.

A basic controller is included with the outdoor unit. Baxi’s wider ASHP Control is optional for additional functions. Compatible system components include the Assure ASHP Cylinder and other Baxi heat-pump cylinders.
The 4 and 5 kW units use a smaller casing than models from 7 to 13 kW. The smaller casing body is 1309 by 700 by 400 mm, with overall height and depth of 717 mm and 426 mm. The larger body is 1388 by 850 by 448 mm, or 864 mm high and 523 mm deep when measured overall.
Availability
At 22 July 2026, the HP50 remained part of Baxi’s Assure residential specification range. It has a two-year warranty, subject to Baxi’s terms, and all eight HP50 MCS records remain current.
