Baxi Auriga HP+ is a commercial R290 air-to-water monobloc family with 20T and 30T model designations. Both models use a three-phase supply and are intended for fully electric, hybrid or cascaded commercial systems.

Model Standard code Coastal-protection code Nominal output at A7/W35
Auriga HP+ 20T 7832039 7837274 20.27 kW
Auriga HP+ 30T 7832040 7837275 23.48 kW

An 80°C commercial range

Both models have a leaving-water range from 25°C to 80°C. The seasonal figures are given separately at 35°C and 55°C flow, while coefficient of performance tables cover outdoor temperatures of 7°C, 0°C and -7°C. The 5.17 family headline is the 30T seasonal figure at 35°C flow, not one value for every design condition.

The live page and 2024 launch give an 1806 mm high, 1881 mm wide and 672 mm deep casing, consistent with the live diagram. The January 2026 guide labels it as 1806 mm high, 672 mm wide and 1881 mm deep, swapping width and depth.

The current page gives net weights of 378 kg and 390 kg. The 2024 launch article instead gives 330 kg and 360 kg, which Baxi has not reconciled. Both models use inverter-driven scroll compressors with a modulation range from 13% to 100%.

Cascades, controls and coastal versions

Up to eight Auriga HP+ units can be cascaded, taking the named-output range to 240 kW. The commercial heating controller can also manage a hybrid combination of heat pumps and boilers. Connection to a building management system is available through Modbus or a 0 to 10 V signal.

Each output has a standard product code and a coastal-protection version. The standard codes are 7832039 for 20T and 7832040 for 30T. The coastal codes are 7837274 and 7837275.

The two sizes do not have the same acoustic value. Baxi’s current technical table gives sound power of 58 dB(A) for the 20T and 64 dB(A) for the 30T, with corresponding sound pressure values of 50 and 56 dB(A) at one metre. The 2024 launch instead says sound power is as low as 63 dB(A) and gives 56 dB(A) sound pressure at five metres. The live feature summary now gives different upper-limit wording again. Sound power and sound pressure at stated distances are different measurements, so these figures are not interchangeable.

Availability

Baxi launched Auriga HP+ in 2024 and both sizes remained current at 22 July 2026. The live MCS Product Directory had no exact Auriga+ or Auriga HP+ entry on that date.

The 2024 launch offered up to five years’ parts-and-labour cover when commissioned by Baxi or a Baxi-authorised engineer. Baxi’s current generic commercial warranty page says products commissioned by Baxi are guaranteed for two years, including parts and labour. The current project terms determine the applicable period. Auriga HP+ is the R290 high-temperature commercial counterpart to the R32 Auriga HP family, not a residential HP60 variant.
