Dura5 HV is the battery module used with Duracell Energy’s current three-phase high-voltage inverter range. Each PD-5KWH-400V-1G module has 5.12 kWh nominal and 4.6 kWh usable energy, using LFP cells.
A separate Dura5 architecture
Dura5 HV is not the high-voltage operating mode of the standard Dura5. It has a different model code, enclosure and system architecture. It must be paired with a supported inverter and the correct module configuration.
The three-phase system covers 5 to 80 kWh per inverter, using one to 16 modules with 1C charge and discharge. Allowable stack size and power still depend on the inverter’s battery-voltage window, charge-current limit, system wiring and commissioned battery-management configuration.
Enclosure and safety
The module measures 509 × 687.5 × 139 mm, increasing to 163.5 mm depth with the stacking clip, and weighs 58 kg ±1 kg. It can be wall mounted or stacked and is rated IP65.
The battery includes fire detection and self-extinguishing cells.
Dura5 HV is a DC battery. It cannot create an AC backup supply independently. Backup operation, grid separation, protected loads and island-mode earthing are functions of the compatible inverter and completed installation.
The product specification is 8,000 cycles with a ten-year warranty.
