Charge Max belongs to Easee’s home-site architecture and is currently available in the UK. Its certified meter and three-phase capability distinguish it from the One.
Supply and home-site arrangement
The supported three-phase earthing arrangements have different maximum outputs. The installed current limit and the vehicle’s onboard AC charger determine the rate reached in use.
The charger has a socket rather than a permanently attached cable. A compatible cable can be locked in place for tethered use. Charge Max units can share a home circuit through local load and phase balancing.
An Easee Equalizer measures the building’s import and generation for dynamic load control and automatic solar-surplus charging. It is an additional device, not a function of the charger alone.
Certified metering and communications
Charge Max has a MID Class B meter. This provides certified energy readings for arrangements such as workplace-car reimbursement, although a billing or reimbursement service is still a separate part of the setup.
The Easee app, Easee Control and supported protocol provide remote management. RFID and NFC provide access control, while Bluetooth and Easee Link handle local functions.
Integrated residual-current detection is part of the chargepoint. External circuit protection and the installed electrical design remain separate.
Vehicle-to-grid-ready hardware
Charge Max is V2G-ready, with bidirectional power electronics and ISO 15118 communication hardware. V2G services are not currently available or enabled. Operation would additionally depend on the vehicle, installation, metering, network permission and an available service.
Warranty and UK listing
The five-year warranty is conditional on correct installation and Easee’s procedure. The model appears as Easee - Charge Max on the GOV.UK list dated 15 June 2026 for residential and commercial grants.
