Charge Pro belongs to Easee’s large-site architecture for apartment buildings, workplaces, fleets and other managed sites. Each chargepoint includes its own certified meter.
Power and site scale
The supported three-phase earthing arrangements have different maximum outputs. The vehicle and configured site limit can reduce the rate reached in use.
Each unit has a socket and can lock a compatible cable in place. Local Easee Link communication balances load and phases across chargers on a circuit. Easee describes the total across a cloud-managed site as unlimited, although the number installed remains bounded by the site’s supply, circuits and electrical design.
The Equalizer is the measurement accessory for automatic adjustment against building demand and for solar-surplus charging. It is required for those building-level functions.
Metering and management
Charge Pro includes a Measuring Instruments Directive Class B meter. The certified readings can feed supported billing, reimbursement or fleet-management services. The commercial service and contractual arrangement are separate from the meter hardware.
Remote management uses the Easee app, Easee Control or supported third-party integrations. The documented protocol can use cloud, proxy and direct connections. Easee’s statement about later protocol support is different from claiming a particular later version is already enabled.
The communication methods separate cloud, local and charger-to-charger functions. Integrated residual-current detection remains distinct from the external circuit protection selected for the site.
Bidirectional readiness
The hardware is described as V2G (vehicle-to-grid) ready and includes the power path and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 15118 communications intended for bidirectional operation. Easee explicitly separates that hardware status from service availability. A working V2G or vehicle-to-home arrangement would also require a compatible vehicle, installation, metering, network approval and active service.
Warranty and UK record
Easee’s published warranty is conditional on correct installation. The dated GOV.UK eligible chargepoint list records the model for residential and commercial grant schemes, which remains separate from a particular site’s eligibility.
