Easee Charge belongs to the company’s earlier large-site architecture. Easee keeps its manuals and support material available for installed units.

Supply and managed-site use

The charger accepts single-phase and three-phase supplies across the documented earthing arrangements. The isolated or impedance-earthed three-phase form has a lower stated maximum than the earthed-source-neutral form. The vehicle’s onboard AC charger and the site’s configured current can reduce the actual rate.

A cable can remain removable or be locked in place. App and third-party control provide remote operation, while RFID and near-field communication provide access control.

Local Easee Link communication distributes current and phases between chargers. This model belongs to Easee’s large-site group: it can share a circuit with Charge Core, but it cannot join the local group used by One, Home, Charge Up or Charge Max. A manufacturer statement about site scale does not remove the limits imposed by the supply, circuits and electrical design.

Metering and solar control

The built-in energy meter is not the Measuring Instruments Directive certified meter fitted to Charge Pro, so the two products do not have the same metering status.

Automated solar-surplus charging needs an Easee Equalizer or another supported energy-management device to measure power at the connection. The same measurement allows charging power to respond to spare building capacity.

Discontinued model with a live grant row

The manufacturer classifies Easee Charge as discontinued. Support, cloud functions and published documentation remain relevant to the installed base, but that does not establish current availability for a new purchase.

The dated GOV.UK eligible chargepoint spreadsheet still includes Easee Charge for residential and commercial grants. A register entry can outlast a model’s sales lifecycle, and grant eligibility also depends on the current scheme and installation conditions.
