Enphase IQ Battery 3T is an AC-coupled battery used in earlier Enphase storage systems. The international model ENCHARGE-3T-1P-INT has 3.5 kWh usable energy, four embedded IQ8X-BAT microinverters and 1.28 kVA continuous output.
Current position
Enphase retains current documentation, warranty material and troubleshooting information for IQ Battery 3T. However, the current UK homeowner battery page highlights IQ Battery 5P and the UK store does not present 3T as the current home battery. New UK supply is therefore marked unconfirmed rather than current or discontinued.
That distinction matters for new supply. Current status depends on authorised UK supply confirmation, the warranty applying to the exact serial number and a supported system component list. It does not prevent continued service of an installed 3T.
Product arrangement
The 3T uses LFP cells and four embedded battery microinverters. Its AC coupling means energy is converted at the battery independently of the solar microinverters. The stated 3.5 kWh capacity and 1.28 kVA continuous output are separate limits.
Retained European data gives dimensions of 430 mm wide, 775 mm high and 188 mm deep and a total installed-unit weight of 48.8 kg. Siting also depends on the mounting construction, clearances, environmental limits and service access in the matching installation guide.
Backup capability depends on the supported controller generation and overall system design. An installed 3T should not be assumed compatible with the current IQ System Controller 3 INT or current 5P components without an Enphase component-list check.
Existing-system records
For an installed system, retain the battery, base-unit and gateway serial numbers, controller model, system diagram, firmware and activation-date warranty. The array and storage configuration in the Installer Portal should match the physical equipment.
Battery capacity naturally changes with condition and operating history. A monitoring value or warranty headline alone does not diagnose a cell, communications or metering issue.
