Solar input

IQ8P has a 16 to 65 V input range, a 22 V start-up voltage and a 36 to 55 V MPPT window. Maximum input current is 14 A, maximum short-circuit input current is 25 A and maximum input power is 670 W.

Module wattage alone does not establish compatibility. The module’s voltage and current must also fit the IQ8P input schedule.

AC branch and enclosure

IQ8P produces 230 V AC with 2.09 A maximum output current. Maximum efficiency is 97.3%, while European weighted efficiency is 97.0%. A 20 A circuit supports up to seven units on a single-phase branch or 21 distributed across three phases. The corresponding IQ Cable section limits are seven and fifteen.

The enclosure measures 263.5 × 196.3 × 36.1 mm without its bracket and weighs 1.6 kg with the mounting plate. It is rated IPX6/IP67, uses natural-convection cooling and operates from -40°C to 65°C. Night-time power loss is 100 mW.

Warranty

IQ8P-72-2-INT has a 25-year warranty in Scotland, England and Wales, conditional on an internet-connected IQ Gateway and the remaining terms. Northern Ireland needs the warranty applicable to its territory.
