Fox ESS KH is a single-phase hybrid inverter family. The UK range comprises KH7, KH8, KH9 and KH10, while the wider schedule also includes KH10.5.
KH model and input map
KH7, KH8, KH9 and KH10 are 7, 8, 9 and 10 kW models with maximum DC inputs of 10.5, 12, 13.5 and 15 kW respectively. KH7 and KH8 have three MPPTs; KH9, KH10 and KH10.5 have four. Each MPPT has a maximum input current of 16 A.
Maximum efficiency is 97.8% and European efficiency is 97.4%. The battery input spans 85 to 480 V with 50 A maximum battery current.
Battery, EPS and monitoring
EP6, EP12, EQ2900, EQ4300, EQ4800 and CQ7 are named battery options. Compatibility still depends on the complete inverter and battery codes and their current firmware and system documentation. KA codes are storage-only counterparts without solar inputs; KH models have direct PV inputs.
KH has EPS output with changeover below 6 ms and FoxCloud monitoring. These functions do not identify the protected circuits or establish battery compatibility for an installed system.
Warranty
Standard cover is 60 months from installation but no later than 65 months from manufacture, whichever comes first. Extensions are conditional and product-dependent.
