ET G2 is GoodWe’s three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter family. The UK and Ireland range comprises GW6000-ET-20, GW8000-ET-20, GW10K-ET-20, GW12K-ET-20 and GW15K-ET-20.
Solar and battery limits
The two lower ratings have two MPPTs and the three larger ratings have three, with one string per tracker. A family-level description of “up to three trackers” therefore does not identify the connections on a particular unit.
Maximum solar input is a non-continuous figure at 1.6 times normal power. It is not the same as rated AC output and should not be treated as a continuous conversion rating.
The battery connection covers 150 to 720 V lithium-ion equipment. Charging current also changes by inverter code. Compatibility remains a separate question: the proposed battery family, control-unit code, module count and current GoodWe compatibility list all need to match.
Backup is a separate output
The ET G2 includes a three-phase backup output. Its nominal apparent-power rating follows the inverter class, with short-duration overload values in the schedule. Those inverter limits do not show which circuits are connected, whether loads are balanced between phases or how the installation changes over when the grid fails.
Warranty and connection evidence
GoodWe’s European inverter warranty effective 5 March 2026 places covered ET G2 units made on or after 1 January 2026 in its ten-year residential group. Earlier units fall under the manufacture-date schedule, while the conditional extension has separate battery, installer, monitoring and registration requirements.
The UK and Ireland datasheet is product evidence, not a complete network approval for a site. Current type-test evidence must match the exact model and configured protection. Its registered capacity is then assessed with every other generating unit at the property.
