Growatt MAX is used for several large three-phase grid-tied solar inverter families. It does not identify one input schedule or AC voltage class, and it is not a battery-inverter range.
MAX 50-80KTL3 LV
MAX 50-80KTL3 LV has a complete current datasheet, but tracker count still changes within the family. The current and short-circuit limits apply per MPPT, not per inverter, and each tracker has its own permitted string arrangement.
Its peak efficiency and European efficiency are separate test metrics. Neither is an annual yield estimate.
Growatt lists arc-fault protection and anti-PID (potential-induced degradation) functions as optional for this family. The supplied unit must be checked rather than assuming their presence from the product-family page.
MAX voltage classes and UK supply
The worldwide catalogue distinguishes LV, MV and HV AC-voltage classes across several MAX families. A datasheet or protection setting for one class must not be applied to another.
Every PV string needs to remain inside the exact model’s voltage, operating-current and short-circuit-current limits. The full tracker allocation is part of the system design, particularly where the tracker has more than one string input.
MAX systems also require a site-specific DNO connection agreement. The application uses the exact type-tested model, total registered capacity, site protection and any export-limitation scheme. A monitoring or export setting on its own is not the connection approval.
The worldwide product centre carried MAX families on 23 July 2026. Current UK supply remained unconfirmed for individual voltage classes and suffixes.
