Growatt MIC is a single-phase string-inverter family for PV. X, X2 and X2 Pro are separate variants with different input-current, enclosure and warranty schedules.

The number is nominal AC watts: MIC 1000TL-X2 Pro, for example, is the 1 kW X2 Pro. The 600 W X2 model is limited to Germany and the Netherlands, so it does not establish general UK availability.
The X2 and X2 Pro variants accept more current per MPPT than X. That distinction can determine whether a higher-current PV module fits the inverter even when its voltage and wattage appear suitable.
Arc-fault protection is optional rather than standard equipment. The full unit code identifies whether that option is fitted.
G98 and G99 evidence by suffix
X and X2 have G98 type-test evidence, while X2 also has G99 evidence. The exact inverter record, all other generation and the aggregate registered capacity determine whether the DNO process is G98 or G99.
MIC has no direct battery connection.

MIC X, X2 and X2 Pro remained in the worldwide range on 23 July 2026. Current UK supply was unconfirmed for individual suffixes and ratings.
