Yutaki S80
Hitachi Yutaki S80 is a high-temperature split air-to-water family using an R410A lower stage and an R134a high-temperature stage. Twelve exact pairings had current MCS entries with code-level SCOP figures.
Specifications
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | air-source, high-temperature split air-to-water |
| SCOP (seasonal coefficient of performance) at 35°C | 3.51 to 4.48 across the 12 current exact MCS pairings |
| SCOP at 55°C | 2.92 to 3.55 across the same pairings |
| Maximum flow temperature (°C) | 80, including continuous operation at -20°C outdoor for the documented generation |
| Minimum operating temperature (°C) | -25 with backup heat and no capacity guarantee from -25 to -20°C; continuous operation from -20°C |
| Refrigerant | R410A lower-temperature circuit and R134a high-temperature circuit |
| MCS certified | yes; 12 exact RWH and RAS pairings were current on 23 July 2026 |
| Supply phases | single-phase and three-phase forms, identified by exact indoor and outdoor codes |
| Heating-water temperature range (°C) | overall documented envelope 20 to 80, with an ambient-dependent minimum; 30 to 80 at -20°C outdoor |
| Domestic-hot-water temperature range (°C) | 30 to 75 continuously from -20°C to 35°C outdoor; -25°C to -20°C operation uses backup heat and capacity is not guaranteed |
The 80 in Yutaki S80 identifies its high-temperature family, not a capacity. The system uses an R410A lower stage and an R134a high-temperature stage. A certified system pairs one RWH indoor unit with one RAS outdoor unit.
Water-temperature boundary
The overall space-heating outlet envelope is 20°C to 80°C, with the lower boundary changing with outdoor temperature. At -20°C outdoors the continuous region runs from 30°C to 80°C, so 80°C at that condition is directly supported.
The domestic-hot-water graph shows continuous operation from 30°C to 75°C between -20°C and 35°C outdoors. From -25°C to -20°C, operation is possible with the indoor backup heater but capacity is not guaranteed. These are operating boundaries, not rated-output or seasonal-efficiency test points.

(V) is part of the first three directory model strings and denotes the variants covered by each record. It does not extend the record to unrelated codes.
Cylinder and availability
Optional DHWS200S-2.7H2E(-W) 200-litre and DHWS260S-2.7H2E(-W) 260-litre cylinders can sit above or beside the indoor unit. They are storage equipment, not replacements for the RWH module in the certified pairing.
The 12 pairings had current certification periods, but UK new-supply availability remained unconfirmed at the review date.
