Smart PRO is Indra’s established 7.4 kW home-charger family. The current installer page describes a socketed product, while Indra’s technical library retains documents for both socketed and tethered hardware.

Product versions and handover records

The current socketed unit has a Type 2 outlet and uses the driver’s separate cable. Documented tethered units have a fixed Type 2 cable in 6 m or 9.4 m lengths. Smart PRO Gen 2 is a generation label within this family, not a different power class.

Codes beginning SPRFGSK identify socketed variants in Indra and GOV.UK records, while SPRFGT2 codes identify tethered versions. Later digits distinguish generation, cable, colour, partner branding or replacement hardware. The full product code and handover paperwork should be used when ordering parts or making a warranty enquiry.

Control and electrical features

Smart PRO uses the Indra app for schedules, boost, charging records, tariff functions and remote locking. It supports solar mode and load curtailment when the required measurement is installed and configured. Wi-Fi is standard, while 4G and Ethernet are optional in the technical sheets.

Indra documents 6 mA DC leakage detection and its PEST protection, including PEN-fault, earthing, simultaneous-contact and touch-voltage functions. Socketed and tethered sheets give different enclosure ratings, IP65 and IP66 respectively, so the correct sheet should be matched to the physical unit.

Warranty and register status

Indra’s current warranty gives products purchased on or after 5 December 2025 a three-year term from installation by a qualified electrical contractor. Earlier warranty schedules varied by exact code, and replacement or partner-branded units may have different evidence. The dated warranty and installation record govern an existing charger.

Individual Smart PRO codes appear on the GOV.UK eligible chargepoint list dated 15 June 2026. That confirms model listing on that date, not continuing retail availability or automatic grant eligibility for a particular job.
