DeepBlue 3.0
DeepBlue 3.0 is JA Solar's p-type 182 mm module generation. The current European residential range includes JAM54S30 glass-backsheet panels rated from 400 W to 425 W.

DeepBlue 3.0 is the p-type generation in JA Solar’s DeepBlue module sequence. For residential identification, the current European catalogue includes JAM54S30 MR and GR panels. Both are monofacial glass-backsheet products, not the double-glass n-type construction used by the later JAM54D40 and JAM54D41 families.
Representative residential form
The JAM54S30 MR schedule spans six 5 W classes from 400 W to 425 W under standard test conditions. The enclosure dimensions and weight are common across that schedule, while voltage, current and efficiency change with the wattage. MR and GR also remain part of the order code and should not be removed when matching a datasheet.
The MCS Product Directory had current entries for several exact JAM54S30 MR and LR codes on 23 July 2026. Those records establish certification for the listed combinations, not every member of DeepBlue 3.0. The manufacturer product page and an MCS entry also do different jobs: one describes the panel and the other records a certified exact code.
Warranty boundary
JA Solar’s warranty effective from 16 June 2026 places the general JAM**S30 pattern in its 12-year product and 25-year peak-power table. That table allows up to 2% degradation in the first year, followed by 0.55% a year, with 84.8% remaining at the end of year 25.
Those figures apply to modules first sold under that warranty version. An earlier installation keeps the terms applicable at its sale date. The module label, invoice and original warranty document are therefore needed when identifying cover for an installed panel.
