LXP 3–6K Hybrid is LuxpowerTek’s single-phase inverter family for direct solar input and a 48 V nominal battery system. The retained manufacturer schedule covers 3, 3.6, 4, 4.6, 5 and 6 kW AC versions.
Ratings by model
The family name does not provide one electrical rating. Maximum solar input is 6.6 kW for the 3K, 7 kW for the 3.6K and 4K and 8 kW for the 4.6K, 5K and 6K. All have two MPPTs, each with a stated 13.5 A maximum input current and 20 A maximum short-circuit current.
Battery limits also vary. The 3K and 3.6K schedules allow 66 A charge and discharge current, while the larger low-voltage models state 80 A. Maximum charge/discharge power is 3.6 kW through the 5K schedule and 4 kW for the 6K. These battery limits are distinct from the rated AC output and maximum panel power.
The documented battery range is 40 to 60 V. Although the manual includes settings for lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries, a lithium installation still needs a model from the applicable compatibility list, the correct communication cable and matching battery-management-system settings.
Backup output
The family has a separate uninterruptible-power-supply output. The manual states a changeover below 0.01 seconds, but its output limit depends on the exact inverter and whether solar power is available. That figure does not establish which household circuits have been connected for backup or whether every appliance will tolerate the transfer.
Parallel capability is also version-dependent. Current warranty wording expressly refers to standard or parallel models, so the full label and intended configuration should be recorded rather than assuming every unit can be expanded in the same way.
UK connection boundary
The manual’s approval list includes several country standards, but it is not a current UK register record for every version. The grid-connected system record matches the exact model, firmware and configured protection to current type-test evidence. The complete property’s registered capacity and any existing generation determine whether G98 or a G99 route applies.
