The 7 kW zappi 2.1 is the single-phase member of myenergi’s display-equipped charger family. The current sales page describes a maximum of 7.4 kW, while the technical manual rates the model family at 7 kW and 32 A. Actual charging power is also limited by the vehicle, circuit setting and available supply.

Hardware variants

The family code is ZAPPI-2H07. Tethered models have a 6.5 m Type 2 cable, while untethered models have a locking Type 2 socket. The full label must be retained with the handover records because connector and protective-device arrangements are model-specific.

Solar-aware charging

Charging current varies from 6 to 32 A. That gives a practical lower AC charging level of about 1.4 kW at nominal single-phase voltage. ECO operation uses a grid current-transformer reading to adjust charging against household demand and local generation.

The grid CT is required for ECO operation. It must be fitted at the correct connection point, facing the documented direction and reporting to the system reliably. An additional generation CT can improve the displayed breakdown, but it does not replace the grid measurement used for control.

Electrical and service points

The enclosure is IP65 and has integrated 6 mA DC residual-current detection. The installation also needs its specified upstream protection and earthing arrangement. Built-in detection should not be read as permission to omit the required overcurrent device, Type A RCD or site-specific PEN arrangement.

The standard warranty is three years, with a paid extension to five years subject to separate terms. The exact charger label, electrical settings and commissioning record remain the useful references for later service.
