zappi 2.1 is myenergi’s display-equipped Mode 3 AC chargepoint family. The current UK product page offers 7 kW single-phase and 22 kW three-phase versions, each with either a 6.5 m tethered Type 2 cable or a locking Type 2 socket. Black and white finishes create further model-code combinations.

Charging and energy control

The unit varies charging current from 6 to 32 A. FAST works as a conventional charger, subject to the vehicle and installation limits. ECO varies the rate while allowing some imported power. ECO+ can pause charging when the measured surplus no longer satisfies its settings. STOP is a further manual state.

A current transformer at the grid connection is required for the ECO modes. Additional CT measurements can show local generation or a battery, but the grid CT is the measurement used to control import and export. Optional dynamic load balancing can restrict the current drawn from the unit’s supply or the grid.

Versions and installation

The 2H07 code denotes the 7 kW family and 2H22 denotes the 22 kW three-phase family. T is tethered, U is untethered, W is white and B is black. Separate 2.1-G and 2.1-T variants have their own technical documents, so the suffix is part of the product identity.

The enclosure is IP65, with integrated 6 mA DC residual-current detection and protection intended to permit compliant broken-PEN arrangements. The installation also needs its specified upstream overcurrent and residual-current protection. The complete protective arrangement must follow the manual for the exact suffix and the site’s earthing system.

Current 2H models include Wi-Fi and Ethernet and can act as the gateway between compatible myenergi devices and its server. Remote control, monitoring and updates depend on that connection. The standard warranty is three years, with a paid extension to a total of five years subject to separate eligibility terms.

zappi GLO is a separate, smaller screenless 7 kW product with its own model family and interface.
