Twin V7
Pod Point Twin V7 is a freestanding two-socket commercial charger offered at up to 7 kW single-phase or 22 kW three-phase per socket.

Twin V7 is Pod Point’s current freestanding AC charger with two Type 2 sockets. It is intended for commercial, workplace, fleet and shared parking rather than being a two-output home wallbox.
T7 and T22 versions
T7-S-07 is the single-phase model and can supply up to 7 kW to each socket. T22-S-07 uses a three-phase supply and can supply up to 22 kW per socket. Each outlet is rated at 32 A per phase, with the complete unit rated at 64 A per phase combined.
Those are chargepoint limits. The supply design, site load management, simultaneous use and each vehicle’s onboard AC charger determine the delivered rate. The two sockets also need to be commissioned individually.
Protection and supply arrangements
Each socket has an internal 30 mA Type A RCD, 6 mA DC leakage detection and C40A overcurrent protection. The unit also monitors the protective earth and open-PEN conditions. Upstream protection remains dependent on the earthing and supply arrangement. The installation guide sets out single-supply, dual-supply and polyphase options for T7 and a three-phase plus neutral supply for T22.
The enclosure is IP54 and IK10. Pod Point specifies indoor or outdoor use but says not to locate the unit where it is liable to flooding. The physical installation also needs protection from vehicle impact where the site risk assessment requires it.
Network and operation
Twin V7 connects through suitable site Wi-Fi or a specified router arrangement. Managed installations can use Pod Point network services for driver access, charging confirmation, payment and reporting. The charger may therefore appear to have a hardware fault when the actual issue is account, site configuration or communications, and those layers should be checked separately.
