TwinPeak 5 is REC’s p-type monocrystalline module family using 132 half-cut cells. The standard version has black cells and frame with a polymer backsheet, while the separately coded Black version also uses a black rear finish.
Documented power range
REC’s live product page labels the standard TwinPeak 5 range as 395 W to 415 W. Its revision 1.1 datasheet, dated November 2022, provides electrical data for 395 W, 400 W, 405 W and 410 W modules. At 23 July 2026, those four standard wattages have current entries in the MCS Product Directory. The directory also retains an earlier standard 390 W code.
The specification table therefore describes the 395 W to 410 W variants supported by both the revision 1.1 datasheet and exact UK records. It does not assign those electrical figures to a 415 W module.
Cell layout and operating figures
The module divides six strings of 22 cells across REC’s split-panel layout. Its three bypass diodes and divided electrical sections are part of the panel’s response to partial shading, although system yield still depends on the shade pattern and array design.
Efficiency rises across the four wattages because the module dimensions remain constant. The nominal operating temperature and temperature coefficient are laboratory specifications, distinct from a roof’s annual energy estimate.
Warranty and UK records
The standard product warranty is 20 years. Its power warranty allows a maximum 2% reduction in year one and 0.5% in each later year, reaching 86% in year 25. The conditional ProTrust route can extend product cover and add labour cover where the certified-installer, registration and system-size rules are met.
The standard records begin with REC390TP5 at MCS PV0335/27 and continue through the 395 W, 400 W, 405 W and 410 W versions at /28 to /31. The Black set begins with REC390TP5 Black at /32 and continues through the corresponding higher wattages at /33 to /36. All ten records use dimensions of 1899 by 1040 by 30 mm, so the finish is part of the exact model identity rather than a cosmetic note applied after matching. The electrical figures above remain scoped to the 395 W to 410 W standard modules documented in revision 1.1.
REC’s current global navigation foregrounds the Alpha family, but the TwinPeak 5 product page and these MCS records remain live. Existing-system paperwork should be matched to the full standard or Black code.
