Sharp’s NU-AK300 and NU-AK310 were compact monocrystalline modules sold in Europe around 2019. Sharp now labels the NU-AK300 as no longer available and stopped supplying solar panels in Europe after March 2025.
Published specification
The February 2019 English datasheet covers two silver-frame modules. The NU-AK300 is rated at 300 W with 18.4% module efficiency. The NU-AK310 is rated at 310 W with 19.1% efficiency. Both measure 1640 by 992 by 35 mm, weigh 18.1 kg and use 60 monocrystalline PERC cells behind a glass front with a backsheet.
The stated maximum-power temperature coefficient is -0.39% per degree Celsius and the nominal operating cell temperature is 45°C. Sharp specified a positive power tolerance of 0 to +5%. Its archived NU-AK300 page gives a 10-year product guarantee and a 25-year linear power-output guarantee. A claim still needs to be checked against the guarantee document issued for the installation.
Identification and replacement
The B suffix matters. Sharp also made an NU-AK300B version with a different appearance, so a photograph of the front is not enough to establish the complete code. The rear label, original invoice or handover pack should identify the variant.
These dimensions can also matter during replacement work. A current panel may have a higher wattage but a different frame size, electrical current, connector or mounting-zone requirement. Replacement compatibility includes the existing string and mounting system rather than rated power alone.
MCS history
The MCS Product Directory contains historical records PV0007/137 for NU-AK300 and PV0007/145 for NU-AK300B. Both show a certification period ending on 13 November 2020. No exact NU-AK310 entry was present at 22 July 2026.
Those records document an earlier certification position. They are not current listings and do not make the whole NU-AK family currently MCS certified.
