Sharp NU-JC
Sharp NU-JC is a discontinued rooftop-module family. Its final European N-type series included 430 W, 435 W and 440 W variants in a 1722 x 1134 x 30 mm frame.

NU-JC covers several generations of Sharp rooftop solar panel. The final N-type TOPCon models sold by Sharp’s European solar business were NU-JC430B, NU-JC435 and NU-JC440. All three are no longer available.
Final N-type variants
The three variants share a 1722 by 1134 by 30 mm frame and use 108 half-cells with 16 busbars. NU-JC430B is rated at 430 W with 22.02% module efficiency. NU-JC435 is rated at 435 W with 22.28% efficiency and NU-JC440 is rated at 440 W with 22.53% efficiency.
Their finish is not identical. The 430B uses a black frame and black backsheet. The 435 and 440 have a black frame with a white backsheet. NU-JC430B weighs 20.7 kg, has an NMOT (nominal module operating temperature) of 42.5°C and a maximum-power temperature coefficient of -0.300% per degree Celsius.
Older NU-JC415 and NU-JC415B panels also exist, but they belong to an earlier PERC specification. The N-type figures above should not be applied to them simply because the family name is the same.
Guarantee terms
Eligible EU installations have a 25-year product guarantee and a 30-year linear power-output guarantee. The output curve retains 99% of nominal power in year one and 87.5% in year 30.
Sharp left the European solar market after 31 March 2025, but Sharp Electronics GmbH said existing product and output guarantees would remain valid. Coverage still depends on the exact model, installation setting, date and guarantee terms. The 25-year period is not a blanket promise for every NU-JC module ever supplied.
