Home 22 Plus is the three-phase model in Simpson & Partners’ Home Series V3. It reaches 22 kW at 32 A per phase on a suitable three-phase supply and can also be configured on one phase at the lower single-phase limit.

The vehicle also needs three-phase charging

A three-phase property supply and 22 kW chargepoint do not by themselves produce a 22 kW session. The vehicle’s onboard AC charger must accept three phases at the required current. A vehicle limited to single-phase AC uses only the supported single-phase rate.

Home load and the configured circuit limit can reduce current further. The wired Energy Manager monitors household demand and changes the available charge current, with a wireless measuring option available for applicable installations.

Connector and Plus options

The untethered form has a locking Type 2 socket. The tethered form has a fixed Type 2 cable, with 6.8 m and optional 9.6 m forms in the V3 schedule.

As a Plus model, Home 22 Plus carries the wider finish choices and options for courtesy lighting, Charge Doctor health monitoring, wireless energy management and Ethernet. It also lists solar charging, tariff integration, app control, automatic over-the-air updates, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and native OCPP 1.6J.

The V3 protection schedule covers 6 mA of DC residual-current detection, PEN (protective earth and neutral) fault protection, welded-contact detection and thermal protection. The enclosure has an IP54 ingress-protection rating and an IK10 impact-protection rating.

For units bought after 1 April 2025, current manufacturer terms separate ten years of enclosure cover from five years for the electronics, with registration required. The GOV.UK list updated 15 June 2026 recorded HOME 22 Plus for both residential and commercial grants. A current application follows the live list and grant rules.
