SolarEdge Home Battery 400V, model BAT-10K1P, is a DC-coupled residential battery for compatible SolarEdge single-phase inverters. It is a different voltage platform from Home Battery 48V.

Home Battery 400V inverter matching

Home Battery 400V is compatible with supported Home Hub and Home Wave single-phase inverters and specified retained StorEdge arrangements. Compatibility remains specific to the inverter code and system configuration.

Supported multi-battery arrangements need the specified branch connectors, and their power remains subject to the inverter and system limits rather than increasing without constraint as capacity is added.

The battery’s round-trip figure is measured at battery level. Inverter conversion, standby demand, temperature, cabling and control strategy affect the energy returned at the home’s AC connection.

Home Battery 400V backup requirements

Home Battery 400V can form part of an on-grid or backup system. Backup requires a supported Home Hub single-phase inverter, Home Backup Interface and an installed circuit arrangement designed for islanded operation. A battery connected to Home Wave for on-grid storage does not acquire backup solely because the battery itself has a peak-power rating.

The unit can be wall or floor mounted with the specified accessories. Its weight makes the mounting surface and handling method material installation details.

Home Battery 400V warranty conditions

The policy treats standard solar use and third-party battery management differently. Third-party control replaces the standard unlimited-cycle basis with the finite throughput cap shown in the specification table, while the monitoring, approved-equipment, temperature and other conditions continue to apply.

For Home Battery 400V, the current warranty took effect on 1 January 2026 and applies only to products originally purchased from SolarEdge on or after that date, subject to its covered-location terms. A BAT-10K1P purchased earlier remains under the policy applying to its sale.

Home Battery 400V remains on SolarEdge’s current UK storage page. Exact accessory and part-number supply remains distributor-specific.
