SolarEdge S1200 is a commercial power optimiser for compatible SolarEdge commercial three-phase inverters. It has a separate output-current and input-power schedule from S1000.
S1200 current European schedule
The current European S1200 rating is 1,300 W, above the number in the product name. Retained revisions may show the earlier 1,200 W value, making the document date and complete part number important when an existing array is altered.
Its two-module input remains subject to the voltage, current and short-circuit limits in that schedule.
S1200-only string design
SolarEdge does not permit S1200 to be mixed with other optimiser models in the same string. That restriction includes S1000.
The difference in maximum output current also means that a string designed around S1200 limits cannot be assumed valid with S1000. Exact optimiser count, connected power and inverter pairing belong to the current commercial design table.
Connector and cable variants remain part of the order code. The product name alone does not identify every mechanical detail.
S1200 shutdown value and warranty
Each S1200 has the stated low shutdown output only under the disconnected condition defined in the datasheet.
High-temperature derating applies within the broad operating range. Eligible power optimisers have cover under the August 2025 general policy, subject to its terms.
S1200 remains in SolarEdge’s current commercial product material.
