RHI-(3-6)K-48ES-5G inverter

RHI-(3-6)K-48ES-5G is a single-phase hybrid inverter family that combines solar conversion, a nominal 48 V battery connection and a backup output. Solis lists 3, 3.6, 4.6, 5 and 6 kW output classes on the retained global product page.

Current position

The family still has official product files and Solis service guidance. It also appears in the product selector on the current UK warranty page. It was absent from the UK product catalogue reviewed on 23 July 2026, where S5-EH1P and S6-EH1P families occupy the low-voltage single-phase hybrid category. Current new UK supply is therefore unconfirmed.

Retained support is important for installed systems, but it should not be confused with a current sales listing. The complete code and serial number determine the applicable manual, grid settings and warranty terms.

Solar, battery and backup

The retained manufacturer page states a switching time below 20 milliseconds and up to 5 kW of backup power. The backup ceiling does not imply that every output class delivers 5 kW or that the whole property is connected. Circuit selection, earthing, changeover equipment and starting currents remain part of the installed design.

Nominal battery voltage does not establish compatibility. The battery model, battery-management communications and firmware need to appear in the matching documentation for the RHI revision. Meter and current-transformer direction also matter because they control self-use and export behaviour.

Solis’s current UK warranty document applies to products produced from 1 July 2025. Most installed RHI systems may pre-date that validation date, so the terms supplied with the unit remain the controlling record.
