S6 Hybrid
Solis S6 Hybrid is an umbrella name for current S6-EH solar-and-battery inverters, with distinct single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and high-voltage families.

S6 Hybrid is a useful family description, but it is not a complete Solis model name. Current S6-EH products combine a solar input, battery conversion and a backup output. Their phase arrangement, power range and battery voltage differ substantially.
Current family branches
S6-EH1P(3-10)K-L-PLUS is the current single-phase low-voltage family, with 3 to 10 kW variants. S6-EH3P(8-18)K02-NV-YD-L is a three-phase family for 48 V-class batteries. The residential high-voltage branch includes S6-EH3P(5-12)K-H and S6-EH3P(15-20)K-H.
Current commercial high-voltage families extend beyond that residential range. S6-EH3P(30-50)K-H covers 30 to 50 kW and S6-EH3P(80-125)K10-NV-YD-H covers 80 to 125 kW. Their battery, solar-input, backup and grid arrangements must not be inferred from a residential S6-EH model.
Those branches cannot share one battery or solar-input specification. Even within a family, the output class changes current limits and recommended array size. The complete code and current datasheet define the product.
Backup and battery boundaries
Current S6 pages describe fast backup switching, overload capability and model-dependent generator or parallel operation. These are inverter capabilities. They do not establish which circuits are connected, whether the earthing and changeover design supports island operation or how long a battery can carry the load.
Battery compatibility depends on the approved Solis matching document, communications protocol, firmware and module count. Low-voltage and high-voltage systems are not interchangeable.
The UK limited warranty effective from 1 July 2025 gives energy-storage inverters on sale five years, subject to eligibility and exclusions. Earlier products retain the warranty terms supplied with them.
Meter and current-transformer placement also control self-use and export behaviour. Those commissioning details should be recorded separately from the monitoring account.
The rating label provides the definitive family code.
