Sunsynk L Series 5.12kWh is model SUNSYNK-L5.1, a low-voltage LFP battery. Its nominal energy is 5.12 kWh. DC usable energy is 4.61 kWh at 90% depth of discharge, measured at 25°C and a 0.5C charge and discharge rate.
Electrical limits
Nominal voltage is 51.2 V and the operating range is 43.2 to 57.6 V. Recommended charge and discharge current is 50 A, maximum current is 100 A and the two-minute peak is 150 A at 25°C.
The BMS uses CAN 2.0 or RS485 communications.
Expansion and installation
Up to 32 L5.1 or L5.3 units are supported under the current guidance.
The current weight records conflict. The product-linked v6 figure is approximately 50 kg without distinguishing net from gross, while the product record gives 45 kg net and 50 kg gross. Dimensions are 440 by 620 by 135 mm and the enclosure is rated IP65.
Charging is specified from 0°C to 55°C without optional heating; discharge is specified from -20°C to 55°C.
Warranty boundary
The current battery range page has a ten-year product-warranty headline. The linked formal terms are more specific: five years for the BMS and ten years or 6,000 cycles for cells, with labour excluded from cell replacement after year five.
