ECCO is one of Sunsynk’s current single-phase hybrid-inverter families. The UK range has 3.6, 5, 7 and 8 kW products. They are low-voltage battery inverters and are distinct from the Acure Ecco products, the non-ECCO Hybrid Inverter pages and Sunsynk’s three-phase ranges.

Shared functions

Each current ECCO model controls PV, a battery and the grid. Two MPPTs allow two separately controlled PV inputs. The units support grid-tied, off-grid and UPS operation and have a built-in display.

An IP65 enclosure and natural cooling are common across the four current entries. The smaller 3.6 and 5 kW models have net weights of 14.6 kg and use SG04LP1 model codes. The 7 and 8 kW units weigh 23.6 kg and use SG05LP1 codes. Those physical groupings do not make their electrical limits interchangeable.

Model identity and ratings

The family power name refers to rated AC output, not battery energy or PV array size. Each model has its own maximum PV voltage and current, battery charge and discharge limits, pass-through current and off-grid rating. The datasheet, design record and unit label use the same full SKU.

Rated AC output Full model code Net weight
3.6 kW SYNK-3.6K-SG04LP1 14.6 kg
5 kW SYNK-5K-SG04LP1 14.6 kg
7 kW SYNK-7K-SG05LP1 23.6 kg
8 kW SYNK-8K-SG05LP1 23.6 kg

Backup boundary

UPS and off-grid support mean the inverter can energise an appropriately designed output after grid loss. They do not define which household circuits are connected or how long a battery will run them. Backup power, surge limits, battery capacity, earthing and changeover design all remain part of the installed system.
